Sliding tile puzzle
Free the trapped square!
A sliding tile puzzle, hand made in hardwood. The square piece is trapped at the top and needs help to find freedom. Set the puzzle up as shown in the picture, then slide the tiles around to get the thinner, square tile to the bottom of the tray, where it can escape through the slot, which is too thin for all the other tiles.
This hardwood creation makes a great coffee table addition and conversation piece.
This item is 6½" wide by 8" by 2" high.
Note: The woods used won't necessarily match those pictured, but the rectangular and small square tiles are guaranteed to be all the same, and to contrast the large square tile.
If you would like yours made of particular woods, please make a note when you order. If you would like a non-standard size, please contact me first in case it might require a price change.
Thanks to The Museum of Illusions and Landing Bird Woodworking for the design.
